IntheAppliedInformationTechnologyGeneralcourse,studentsunderstandthatlanguagevariesaccording
tocontextandtheyincreasetheirabilitytouselanguageflexibly.ThevocabularyoftheAppliedInformation
TechnologyGeneralcourseistechnicalandincludesspecifictermsforconcepts,processesandproduction.
Studentslearntounderstandthatmuchtechnologicalinformationispresentedintheformofdrawings,
diagramsanddigitally.Theyalsolearntheimportanceoflistening,andtalkingwhenlearningabout
technologiesprocesses,especiallyinarticulating,questioningandevaluatingideas.

Studentsdevelopinformationandcommunicationtechnology(ICT)capabilityastheylearntouseICT

workcollaboratively,andintheirlivesbeyondschool.TheICTcapabilityinvolvesstudentsinlearningto
