Multiplying Fractions Activity


Do an activity with your child to multiply fractions.
Materials: a large pitcher, a measuring cup, and the ingredients shown
in the recipe
Look at the recipe below for party punch. It makes a large amount
of punch.
Rewrite the recipe so that it will be more suitable for your family.
Just multiply the amount of each ingredient by 1.

Recipe for
Cranberry Cooler Party Punch
Ingredients:
12 cups cranberry juice
2 cups orange juice
8 cups grape juice
1 cup lemon juice
2 cups crushed pineapple
Directions:
Stir all ingredients together. Pour into serving glasses. Enjoy!
