Preheat waffle iron.

Whisk together in a large bowl:


1 cups all purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 tablespoon sugar
teaspoon salt
Whisk together in another bowl:
3 large eggs, well beaten
8 tablespoons (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted ( can use between 4 and 16
tablespoons)
1 cups of milk
Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour in the wet ingredients. Gently
whisk together with a few strokes. (the batter should have a pebbled look).
Spoon batter onto the hot waffle iron and spread to within1/4 inch of the edge of the
grids. Close the lid and bake until golden brown.
