PHASE 4: FINAL EVALUATION

Introduction
Given the importance of learning, it is necessary to contemplate different and better ways to

have access to quality education taking into account that there are people who do not live near to
an educational institution and do not have the means and availability to live and study far from
home. That is the reason why it will be exposed an alternative way where technology could help
people from different places.

General objective
To show by means of this essay the main ideas that support that the use of technology is
making education accessible for more people in different places.

Specific objectives

To mention the importance of education.

To describe the technology as a source of knowledge.

To eliminate location as a barrier to study.

To establish how people can access to education through technology.

PHASE 4: FINAL EVALUATION

The use of technology in making education accessible for more people in different places

In a world of competitiveness mankind is normally trying to achieve better living conditions

and pursuing happiness, that is the reason why it is important to take into account that these days
knowledge, ability and experience are tools that could help to obtain better chances for a living
therefore the way to get those tools becomes very important a relevant nowadays. In that way, it
is clear that education and the means to get it are really important so then day after day more
people are attempting to get quality education to succeed. Otherwise, there are different ways to
study these days and even people would rather to attend to a classroom in person, many of them
do not have the time, location or money that it requires so those people do not access to
education. Nevertheless the use of technology allows that some people who could not study
years ago can study today regardless of the time and location. Taking into account what has been
mentioned so far, this written aims to state different arguments why the use of technology makes
education accessible for more people in different places.
Although technology has many uses like in entertaining and communication, there is one big
issue where it is assisting more than ever. Technology is currently helping educational
institutions remove barriers to education in a moment when the access to technology has never
been that reachable and over time the information has been being designed to be accessible
through the use of technology.
Even getting appropriate access to internet as well as a laptop or desktop computer is not
always that easy, through the obtaining and using of technology, educational opportunities for
people from remote areas might significantly enhance because they will not have to travel,
making education not just more accessible but cheaper for students and institutions. The use of
technology in education also empowers people who will manage and adjust their activities to
their own schedule making them feel more independent.
It is important to consider that institutions which provide better and easier access to education
also can attract the most talented and compromised students without regard their location. That is
why a student could even travel abroad and continue developing his education program. In other
times students who wanted to study but lived in a remote location necessarily had to go to a
different place but now it is possible to search for an education program around the country and
studying it thanks to technology just having a computer and internet access. In addition,

technological tools could be available for teachers too and as students, they will be able to guide
learning no matter where they are.
Finally, to make this possible, the curriculum provided to students has to be transformed in
order that learning is based on technology and that becomes more relevant and customized to
every particular situation, location and learning style.
After all mentioned above, there is enough evidence to ensure that people from different and
remote locations can have access to quality education without attending to a classroom through
the use of technology.

PHASE 4: FINAL EVALUATION

Conclusions

The current essay shows us the magnitude of help that technology can provide to people

who want to study but have access issues because of the location.

This writing leads to understand that technological tools offer quality education as well as

a cheaper way to get it.

The arguments provide an alternative to people who want to study a newfangled way of

education.

Finally, the information provided along the course of Colombian Education and the

development of the different individual and collaborative activities form a process that let us
analyze, know and learn the organizational structure of Education in our country, the importance
of a bilingual program and other different topics about education.
