Dear Sir:
The undersigned, as a member of the faculty of this University handling
Criminology and Law Subjects, most respectfully request that I be granted the
authority to practice my profession as a lawyer. Said engagement in the private
practice of my profession is expected to home my skills and thereby let me
acquire additional experience in my field which in turn is expected to result to
better teaching methods and richer source of actual experience which could be
shared with my students in explaining various provisions of law. It is of course
understood that such practice would be subject to such terms and conditions
as your office may prescribe. This request is made pursuant to and in
accordance with Articles 248, 250 & 251 of Republic Act 4126, otherwise
known as An act converting the Samar Institute of Technology in the
Municipality of Catarman, Province of Northern Samar, into a University to be
known as the University of Eastern Philippines, and authorizing the
appropriation of funds thereof.
