Location of observation: The location of my observation was done on a fish ball cart.
Number of subject observed and their general nature: There are 3 subjects involved in
this observation. ( A girl and a couple)
Summary of observations: While the vendor is busy entertaining all the costumers, a
couple and a girl catch my attention. I saw how they wait patiently for their turn. I first
focus on the other girl (teenager) who is alone. She is standing beside the cart with a cross
arm gesture. I observed the way she stands, its in a waiting posture which makes me think
that she is a bit boring at that time. On the other hand, while the surrounding is filled with
different sounds since it is near the road, the guy walks around the cart waiting for the girl
to finish her orders. (By the way, the 3 subjects are all wearing t-shirt and short.) After the
couple finished their business the girl took her turn. As I look at the girl, she didnt speak
that much and maybe it is because she notice that I was looking at her. After she gave her
payment, she passed right in front of me and walked really fast.
Theory that you derived from your observations: As I have observed them, I think if you
are with someone while waiting you will never feel bored and uncomfortable. Compare
when you are alone, aside from being bored you can also feel depressing atmosphere or
sensation.
