Reflection

Context: Both of these two artifacts came from Cedaroak Primary School.
The first artifact is from assisting a fifth grade student in reading, and the
second artifact comes from feeding a student named Nathan.

Content: Modifies instruction to assist a student with diverse/special needs


in meeting all or most leaning objectives. In the first assignment the
reading lesson was developed to help a student learn how to read short
stories such as Eggs for Gram, and in the second assignment I am helping
Nathan with the PEC (picture exchange communication) learn to ask for his
food by given the person who is feeding him the picture in exchange for his
drink.

Contemplation: I would have liked to spend more time helping the student
to read, however, she went back to the resource center where there were
more students learning how to read. In the second artifact Nathan has now

progressed to more complicated lessons in asking for food, and other items
such as music.
