Synopsis Group 3

The Project we have decided upon is configuration of the Sales and Distribution
Module (SD). Configuration basically means making certain customised
enhancements to the system based on the business needs of the customer.
We have undertaken the SD module and by this configuration activity aim to
better understand the Sales Order processing and also the interconnection of SD
with other modules like FICO, MM etc. The configuration activities we hope to
complete during the course of our project are as follows:
Master Data management
Order management
Warehouse management
Shipping
Billing
Pricing
Sales Support
Transportation
Foreign Trade
During the course of the project we will aim to do justice to the above mentioned
areas and may give special attention to areas like Sales Order configuration
which deals with configuring the system for Quotations, Shipping and Invoicing.
All five members of the group will work in tandem to execute the configuration
activities and any chance in scope will be discussed with the concerned faculty
beforehand.
