Statistical Processing Charts

R Chart

When working with Variables data, an R (range)

chart creates a picture of a process over time. This
chart is used with data that has a subgroup size of
two or more.

S Chart

When working with Variables data, an S Chart is a

variation on the R Chart above. Instead of range,
however, the S Chart shows the standard deviation
of each subgroup. This chart is generally used when
the subgroup size is large; for example, eleven or
more observations per subgroup.

P Chart

When working with Attribute data, a P-Chart shows

how a process changes over time. However, instead
of using the actual count of nonconforming units, pcharts use a proportion of the nonconforming items,
since the subgroup size may vary.

List Chart Types:

Streaming List

The Streaming List displays rows of data

that display new rows at the top of the list
when active data arrives. StreamingList
shows only inserts. It is optimized for a fast
rate of inserts, and is good for watching
web-logs or some other form of data stream
that really has only inserts anyway

Updating List

The Updating List displays rows of data

that update in place when active data is
inserted. UpdatingList shows only updates.
It is optimized for a fast rate of updates, and
is good for watching stock quotes or some
other form of data stream that really has
only updates anyway.

Updating Ordered List

The Updating Ordered List displays

updated records inserted into the sorted list.
The top records are highlighted in up to
four colors. You must apply a sort to view
the color highlighting. Updating Ordered
List will show inserts, updates and deletes,
and it will also support sorting with
ActiveData across multiple columns (if the
updates should move the row to another
position in the list it will actually move
there).

Action List

The Action List displays the records with

selected fields, sorted on the selected sort
field, and additionally an action box. The
view allows actions to be defined on the
individual data row. (either multiple
selection or single selection). Additionally
editable fields can be selected to change
the data in the ADC. (Actions are defined
in report properties)

Collapsed List

The collapsed list displays the records in

selected fields, and summaries. If the
selected field has no summary field
selected, it groups all the remaining fields
as per summary selection. All duplicates
are merged and totaled as per summary
selection

Columnar

The Columnar view is text report view that

includes grouping, summaries, headers,
footers, and text formatting. Columnar
views can be tiled views in a single page or
continuous Columnar reports.

Crosstab

Supports the following aggregates for 2

dimensions (rows and columns)
The data fields can be aggregated to show:
Sum, Average, Count, Min, Max
Supports n levels on each dimension
Intermediate aggregates at every level
Grand total aggregates for rows and
columns
Client-side pivoting
Client-side filtering
