Rufus: Vivian dear, would you and Adelaide hurry
yourselves were going to be late
the main living room where Vivian and Adelaide are
getting ready to go out
Vivian: were coming Rufus now calm yourself
Adelaide: Must we go mother?
Vivian: Yes Adelaide now stop talking and know your
place
*Ivy walks in*
Vivian: Good gracious girl havent you learnt to knock
before entering? Who are you anyway?
Ivy: Oh im Ivy Calder
*Vivian looks at her confusedly whilst Adelaide smirks
Ivy: The new servant *she curtsies, Adelaide laughs
and Vivian looks at Adelaide sharply*
In a world where your every move is watched
*Adelaide looking out the window at some girls of her
age laughing and chatting, Rufus walks up beside her*
Rufus: Dont you want to join them?
Adelaide: No

Vivian: Take that hat off whilst your inside for goodness

Adelaide: Mother I cant see the difference between
wearing it inside or outside
Vivian: well none of the other girls where there hats
inside
Adelaide: *turns her head away* im not like the other
girls

*Adelaide and Ivy bump into each other and laugh,
they share a gaze*
*Adelaide writes Ivy a note saying meet me by the
lake and gives it to her as she works in the kitchen, Ivy
reads it and smiles*
In a story of love..
*Adelaide and Ivy meet by the lake, they start to chase
eachother and then fall to the floor,they laugh and then
look at eachother *#
Ivy: No one can ever know about us, can they
..Secrets..
*Adelaide and Ivy meet in a room and whisper to each
other*
Ivy: I couldnt stop thinking about you today

Adelaide: Me neither
*Rufus overhears and stands outside the door*
.. Tragedy..
*Dark lighting in the living room*
Rufus: Pack your bags your leaving, now
Ivy: Sir, please, I can ex..
Rufus: NOW
*he pushes her to the floor the closest I get music
starts*

*Adelaide is crying*
Vivian: how can you do this to us? Not only have you
fallen for a servant, but a female?
Rufus: You are a disgrace
