Position after playing 1. ..

Rxd6

Variation 1:
2.c x d6 is very difficult position to defend for Black: The moves will be 2. C x d6+ Kb8 3.Qg7 Re8

After 4.Q x f6 Qb6+ 5. Kh1 you do not have any good moves left.

Variation 2:
1.. Rxd6 2.Rxd6 Qe8 - In this variation whites back rank is vulnerable and gives you very good
chances to win the game.
3. Qg7+ Kb8 (Kc8 will give chances for checks on white diagonal

Two sub-variations exist.

Subvariation 2.1 The first one 4.Kf2 gives you a chance to win the Queen.

Now 4.... Rg8 5. Qxf6 Ne4+ (Queen is lost)

If 6. fxe4 Rf8. If King moves, Nxf6 loses the Queen.

Subvariation 2.2 - This is the best variation for white - 4.Kf1

After 4.... Qb5+ 5.Kf2 Re8 6.Qxf6 Qe2+

7.Kg3 Qe2+ 8.Kg3 Ne6 is the best continuation.

Position is roughly equal

Other variations:
Any other moves than 4. Kf1 are bad for white:
For example, 4.h3

Here the line is: 4.. Qe1+ 5.Kh2 Qe5+

Either the checks will be repeated: 6.Kh1 Qe1+, etc.
Or if 5.g3 Qe2+ 5.Kh1 Re8 with a threat to mate.
Or if 5.f4 Qxf4+ 6.Kg1 Re8 7.Rd1 Ne4

Here the strongest white could do is: 8.Qd7 Rh8 9.Rb1 Ng6+

Now 10.Kg1 Qxh4 will get a piece.
