    *This is a homework overview for the reading for our The Catcher in the Rye unit. Be
    aware that there will be additional work with grammar, vocabulary, and writing.
    *Being absent does not excuse you from the reading. Since you have this schedule, you
    should be able to plan accordingly and get your work done even if you are out for a day.
    You will be responsible for RCQs even after you have been absent.
    *Any hand-written notes that you take on the assigned reading may be used during
    reading check quizzes (RCQs). Take advantage of this effort-related opportunity.
    Those of you who take notes responsibly will do far better throughout this unit than those
    students that rely on memory alone.
