Chemistry definitions

Isotopic energy- the energy required to remove an electron from each


atom in one mole of gaseous atoms to form one mole of gaseous 1+ ions.
Quantum level- Energy level
Quantitative data- a quantity of what is being observed (using
equipment)
Qualitative data- a description of what is being observed (using senses)
Resolution- smallest change in the quantity measured that can be
observed
Extraneous variable- A factor which may affect the experiment which is
not measured or controlled (may not be able to control the variable)
