Clearing and grubbing shall be carried out to the full extent of the road reserve unless on

certain areas where plantations will not obstruct the permanent works. Trees which are not
along the permanent works may not be removed but the trunk must be chopped off.

Carry out site clearing by cutting off trees, shrubs, and other related plantations and
vegetation which includes stumps roots must be removed from site. Removed debris on the
working area specially on the embankment area where earth filling will be carried out. Trees
shall be uprooted, shrubs and bushes shall be cleared by cutting or dozing and removed from
the site.

Investigate on necessity of diversion or cut off and sealed on existing services, pipes and
drains encountered during the clearing.

Any presence of concrete structure, fences, brickworks and/or other artificial obstructions
within the limits of road reserve or as marked in the site plan to be removed must be
demolished and to be removed.

Topsoil which may contain loose and unsuitable earth material must be disposed off at site
