Class Objective:
Welcome to U.S. History where we will cover the timer period from
Reconstruction to the Present (139 yrs). I strongly believe the study of
history should be a relevant and meaningful experience. As a result,
this course will highlight how people, events, issues, & themes relate to
the world around us. I expect you to work hard, challenge yourself, and
show integrity in your work. As a class we bring a wide array of

board for the days agenda.
2. Tardiness: A signed note from another teacher/admin is the only way
a tardy will be excused.
3. Leaving the Classroom during Class: To leave the classroom you
must sign out, and take the hall pass. NO STUDENT will leave during
the first or last ten minutes of class: 10 & 10

responsible for making up missed work. Students are allowed one day
for each absence to make up assignments. For example, if you miss
Wednesday, then your work would be due on Friday. Please contact
fellow students during your absence or when you return before
talking to me for details. All documents and assignments will be
in the student self-service bin as well as the webpage.

6. Food & Drinks: Water & Gum are acceptable. Other food items will
not be allowed in class, if a student needs to eat he/she can go to the
commons at risk of being tardy.
