The objective of Goswami Tulsidas (A great saint from India who wrote

the epic Ramacharitmanas) is not to just tell folk tale of Lord Rama but
to assert the Divine importance of Holy Word (Ram Naam). This is right
that he has been a very good story writer and he has scripted the life of
Lord Rama in a very lucid, popular and descriptive way which has perhaps
not been done by any other writer. But his main objective was to establish
the glory and importance of Holy Word which is the essence of all holy
scriptures like Vedas and Purans etc. He says:
