Dear Sirs or Madams,

I am writing these lines to apply for the vacant position as an English teacher in your
education project. I consider myself as a good candidate for this position because of two main
reasons.
First of all, I have experience teaching English to foreign children. I have collaborated with
the organization Teachers for all and, as a member of it, I have worked in some Asian
countries teaching English in rural schools. I think this experience has provided me with the
skills and knowledge required in the position you are offering.
Secondly, I can speak fluently French, Arab and Chinese. As you know, these are the
languages typically spoken in many poor countries which for sure will take part in your
education project. My ability of speaking the native language of the inheritants of these
countries might be of help for the project and for the process of teaching itself, by allowing
me to communicate with the children in their own language.
Finally, besides those things I have already mentioned, I would like to point out that I find
very appealing the possibility of working as a volunteer. Helping the others without asking
anything in return, just as an act of generosity, is an experience I would love to have. If you
give me the opportunity of doing this as member of your project, you will not regret it.
