Using the Porters five forces model, analyse the industry in which the
company operates
2. Using the Global integration/National responsiveness Matrix,
examine the internationalization strategies adopted by the company.
Companys introduction
As the saying goes 1/5th of cars produced globally contains steel produced by
Arcelor Mittal.
Objectives
1.To analyze and conceptualise how a company owning a series of mini mills
went on becoming a multi-billion dollar empire through inorganic growth
strategies
2. Challenges faced en-route in making the worlds biggest steel empire
3. To analyse the entry strategies in India where government is in favour of
domestic steel manufacturers viz. TATA Steels & SAIL.
