KUALA LUMPUR.

My Project is about Kuala Lumpur, west of Malasya. Kuala Lumpur is the capital city in
Malasya.
With an area of 243,65 km and a population of 1.887.674, Kuala Lumpur is the
biggest city in malasya, and the most visited.
In the city also houses the official residence of the Malaysian King , the Istana Negara.
Kuala Lumpur is known for being the place where the Petronas towers, the world's
tallest twin buildings and formerly the tallest buildings in the world.
The Malay language is the national language and the main language in Kuala Lumpur.
Other common languages in the city are Mandarin Chinese , Cantonese and Tamil.
English has a strong presence , especially in the business world and is also compulsory
language in schools.
Kuala Lumpur is the economic center of the country . So tourism is Very Important in
the city , providing income , employment and greater business opportunities. The
commercial center of the city, contains the Petronas Twin Towers and has a very
distinctive nightlife . Nightclubs , bars and trendy lounges.
The architecture of Kuala Lumpur is a blend of colonial influences, Asian traditions ,
Islamic inspirations - Malays , modern art and a mix of postmodern architecture. Most
styles have been modified to use local resources and acclimatised to local climatic
conditions, which are hot and humid throughout the year .
The climate in Kuala Lumpur throughout the year is warm and sunny , with abundant
rainfall
Temperatures tend to remain constant , with maximum temperatures between 30 C
and 33 C and minimum above 23 C .
Flooding is a frequent occurrence in Kuala Lumpur, where there is heavy rain ,
especially in the city center and other low-lying areas . Dust particles from forest fires
in Sumatra nearby, is one of the main sources of pollution in the city by emissions
from motor vehicles and construction work .
