WINCC AUDIT TRAIL SETTINGS

WinCC audit trail requires separate sql db to store all this info. You can view all these entries in
Audit-viewer control.
1.Install wincc audit viewer v7.0sp3 with Runtime and Configuration.

2.configuration license is must or else you cannot open audit config.

3.after installing you will see a audit icon in the wincc explorer project tree.
4.right click on the icon,select"Audit Editor".

5.here you will see you project,expand it upto "Audit DB setup" is shown.
6.select browse,now you will see all the sql server data bases related to Wincc (if installed)
and winCC scada.select the local server and double click on it.

7.now you will be lead to a pop-up window,click on "Create audit trail databases on this server".

8.now you have created a audit DB(Data Base).click on runtime auditing.it will ask a username
and password
username:administrator
password:ccaudit

9.again click on runtime auditing ,where you can see all you .pdl screens,here you can tick
the options what ever you want.operator actions,i/o files etc.,

10.Remember that,if you click on screens,you will get other options too.now select the options
what ever you need and click the "green"runtime button in the top.

11.From now on wards you are auditing all the runtime data...
12.After some time(runtime should be active).open audit viewer ,select the database go to the
custom query tab.here you can browse variety of queries depending upon you're requirement.
click generate.now you can see you're audit trails.

13. test in Runtime by giving command or changing setpoints.

NOTE:You must have admin account in wincc like a admin,then only this audit
DB can be created or else you'll end up with errors.
