POPULATION MOVEMENT

POPULATION is the number of people that live in a specific place


RURAL AREAS: the density of population is low
URBAN AREAS: contains big towns and cities

THE RURAL EXODUS


A lot of people in Spain abandon rural areas and go to towns and cities to
improve their living conditions.
In the 20th century farms were mechanized and many people had to look for
other job opportunities in towns and cities.
In the urban areas they also have better education and health care.
