Anonymous: Post a tutorial on how you edit your pics in Photoshop (b&w and color

) please and thanks :)

Hi! Unfortunately, I can t give the farm away for free (at a detailed level I m gues
sing you d want to see); I do offer one-on-one, half-day workshops shooting with a
model, which covers all the basics of my testing aesthetics, as well as touch-s
tones of my post stuff so feel free to PM me for more about that.
However, broadly, I can offer this about my post-processing:
Color: split-toning, curves, & selective color layers is all I do.
B&W: convert to gray-scale; mess with the orange mix, curves, as well as your pr
ofile RGB, and the tint & WB. After that, it s all about dodge&burn.

(like messing with the actual profile colors, which is kinda hidden at the botto
m of the development module in LR) and did my own thing; more than anything, I u
se split-toning in LR, and tweak the oranges in the HSL panel. But most of my de
eper processing is done in PS using Selective Color and Curves adjustment layers
.
I downloaded the trial version of Alienskin a long time ago, but did not like it
at all. Just too much. They ve released a couple updated versions since then, so
maybe it s better
