MARIE ANTOINETTE

Exercise 24

A. BEFORE YOU WATCH THE SEGMENT:

1. How different would your life be if you could live in a palace with lots of maids
around to help you?
I think my life will remain the same, do the same things I've always done. I would not
change at all.
2. Would you like to live in a historical period in which you had to wear
uncomfortable, fancy clothes and wigs?
I would not have lived at that time because wigs are very annoying and I think I'd be
scratching your head all day.
3. Whats your opinion about pre-arranged marriages?
Can they work out? Why (not)?
I dont like pre-arranged marriages, I think that a person has the right to marry whoever
loves and whom not force you because love is not bought. Not have to live the only life
we have to be unhappy.
