Ingredients For The Pancake Mixture


1. Plain Flour 220 gr

2. Sifted Pinch Of Salt

3. 2 eggs

4. 1 pint of milk

5. Butter 50 gr

Method For Making The Better


1. First, sift the flour and salt into a large mixing bowl with a sieve held high s
above

the bowl so the flour gets a airing.

2. Next, make a well in the centre of the flour and break the eggs into it.
3. Whisk the eggs making sure any bits of flour from around the adge of the
bowl are mixd in with the egg.

4. And then, gradually add small quantities of the milk, still whisking.
5. Continue whisking untill the batter is smooth, with the consistency of the
thin cream.

6. Second, melt the 50 gr of butterin a non-stick frying pan.


7. Next, Spoon 2 tbsp of the melted butter into the batter and whisk it in.
8. Third, Let the pancake mix stand for at 30 least minutes before cooking.

9. Pour any left over butter into a dish. This will be used later to grease the
frying pan after each pancake has been made.

Then, make sure the non-stick frying pan is really hot before adding 2

tbsp of the batter mixture.


11. As soon as the batter hits the hot pan, tip the pan around from side to get
the bese evenly coated with batter.
12. Carefully lift the edge of the cooked pancake with a palette knife to see if
its tinged gold as it should be.
13. And then flipe the pancake over with a pan slice palette knife to cook the
oder side.d
14. Slide it out of the pan into a plate.
15. Finally, stake the pancake as you make them between sheets of greaseproof
paper on plate.

To serve
Traditionally pancakes are sprinkled with caster sugar and freshly squeezed
lemon juice. And rolled.

Other favourite toppings include

Melted chocolate or chocolate spread .


Chocolate spread with slices of banana.
Jam especially strawberry jam.
Golden syrup.
Ice cream.
Toffee souce and whipped cream .
