‘TRAINING OF PRIVATE SCHOOLS’ GRADE FIVE TEACHERS
FOR THE K TO 12 BASIC EDUCATION PROGRAM

1. Pursuant to RA 10533 otherwise known as the Enhanced Basic Education Act of 2013 and in
‘compliance with DepEd Memorandum No. 133 s. 2015, the Division of Antipolo City in coordination
with Antipolo Christian School Association (ACSA), will conduct a Training of Private Schools’
Grade Five Teachers for the K to 12 Basic Education Program on May 26-28, 2016 at Eastern
Manila Hotel (Las Brisas)

provide teachers with an in-depth understanding of the basic knowledge of the Grade 5
curriculum framework, learning standards and competencies, assessment and teaching plans;
2. provide teachers with the opportunities to acquire and demonstrate the cognitive and affective
competencies they need to effectively implement the Grade 5 Curriculum, and
3 ensure that teachers are equipped with capabilities to perform tasks in the effective delivery of
the curriculum and their role as facilitators of learning.
3, Participants to this live-out training are the grade five teachers from private schools. However,
others (aside from members of the ACSA) are also encouraged to attend the said training.
4, Participants are advised to pre-register until May 19, 2016 and avail an EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT of
Php 100.00. Kindly pay your registration fee to Ms. Maribel of TJC Children of Tomorrow School at

‘Opening program will be from 7:30 AM to 8:00 AM. Sessions will start at 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Time
schedule of activities will be strictly followed.
5, Registration fee for walk-in participants is Php 2, 200.00 for 3 days inclusive of training materials,
handouts, food and accommodation and other incidental expenses.
6. Each participant is requested to bring existing materialsireferences. Likewise they are also
‘encouraged to bring pocket wifidongle, smart phone/tablet, extension cord, and 1 laptop (per school)
for the activities.
7. Teachers under medication are also requested to bring their medicine for the whole duration of the
‘raining
8, Proper attire during the training should be observed. Wearing of slippers, sleeveless shirts/blouse
and t-shirts will not be allowed.
