Role-playing games have been a staple of individual development.

Through these
games, individuals have the opportunity to explore various values in a safe
environment. Current literature supports the effectiveness of role-playing as an
effective cognitive-behavioral learning intervention (Crowe, 2014). Furthermore, the
research further supports that the learning process can occur experientially through
direct interaction or vicariously through observation (Hoover, Giambatista, & Belkin,
2012).
