Period 7 Section 6.1 Assessment Visualization is the ability to see clearly in the minds eye what an object looks like. Implementation is the process of drawing what has been visualized. Multiview drawing is the type of graphic representation. Normal views in the front, top, and right-side views. Orthographic projection is the views that make up Multiview drawings. First-angle projection is the accepted method of projecting views onto the quadrants, or angles. Third-angled projection uses the same basic principles as first-angle projection. Questions: 1. Orthographic projection is used to develop Multiview drawings because this is the process of projecting two or more views of an object onto imaginary planes perpendicular to the object. 2. The difference between first-angle projection and third-angle projection is that first-angle the object is projected from the first angle, or quadrant, onto the other quadrants. When using the first-angle projection, the front view appears above the top view, and the left-side view appears to the right of the front view. Then, when using the third-angle projection, the plane of projection is assumed to be transparent, the object is imagined to be in third quadrant. This method is used in the United States. 3. To determine the number of views needed to describe fully the shape and size of an object is in most cases, three view are sufficient to describe an object. The general characteristics of an object often suggests the three views required to describe its shape. Sometimes, an object has features that can be more clearly described by using another view or part of another view. This is the first consider. The characteristic view usually becomes the front view and the first view drawn. 4. You locate multiple views on a drawing by having a pictorial drawing of a slide stop us shown with its overall width, height, and depth dimensions. 5. You create the various views on an object by creating different sides top, bottom, side, front, back. 6. First make your layers and then you use different coordinates and make the objoects.
