These scans are borderline in quality, meaning unless the songbook is rare or a
strongly desired title, it's likely to be rejected:
Examples 1 and 2 are somewhat clear yet remain problematic. They were scanned in to grayscale, resulting in hazy edges and artifact. The margins are way off, whi ch can be corrected in software, but it's very time consuming. Some of the pages are a bit crooked. The margins and spacing in Example 3 is fine. However, it's blurry and too much artifact because of grayscale scanning. Had it been scanned into black and white it'd be a high quality scan. Example 4 is unusual. The pages are straight and the margine white. However, the body of the sheet is actually grayscale, it's been closely cropped, perhaps des kewed, perhaps even converted to black and white, the white margins were made by imposing new margin s; but depending on your PDF reader you may not see this. So because of all the tweaks, it's too blurry. Again, had it been scanned into black and white, it wou ld likely be high quality.
