1,500 Youths Taught on the Requisite of God's

Word for Success in Life

On a mission to change the future by influencing the youths of this generation, the teens
church of Christ Embassy Ilorin launched a reach out campaign and ministered to 1,500
youths in Ilorin and Ogbomosho on the International Youth Day.
150 of them gathered for a summit in commemoration of the International Youth day and set
out to make an impact in the lives of others. On Friday, August 12, during the International
Youth Day Summit, the lives of youths and teenagers were transformed through God's Word.
The indispensability of the Word of God in achieving success in life was communicated to the
youths through talk shows and super sessions.
44 teenagers were motivated after Pastor Lanre Adewole charged the congregants to make
most of their youth in Zealous service of the Lord. As a result of this, they committed to the
Lordship of Jesus. One of the teens expressed that he had never heard such powerful words
and revelations.

Pastor Chris is on the verge of making history through his life-changing activities. His soul
lifting activities have been met with so much recommendation as the results have been seen in
the world today. One of the many ways he is doing this is by reaching out to the youths. He
has set up various youth initiatives that reaches out to the young ones in our society thereby
securing a bright future for all.

One of the youth programmes is The Future Africa Leaders Award. This is an initiative of The
Chris Oyakhilome Foundation and it is aimed at exploring and expanding the leadership
potential in Africa and for Africa by identifying, celebrating and supporting young Africans who
have demonstrated exemplary leadership by impacting their generation positively through
education, youth empowerment and mentoring, and also through other projects aimed at
building young people and preparing them for a positive future.
This compassionate philanthropist is also known for his credible humanitarian activities and
many people have him to thank for this. With a newly transformed youth of today,we can be
sure of a future secured.
