Since its last test in January 2013, Proton Saga has made remarkable improvement in its safety features. In this test the new
Saga model achieved 13.33 over 16.00 points in the Adult Occupant Protection (AOP), a score that placed it in the 4-Star
category, compared to the previous test result of 10.23 points with 3-Star rating for its AOP. For the Child Occupant Protection
(COP), the Saga made a commendable achievement by obtaining 71% compliance. This compliancy is within 4-Star rating.
Proton Saga comes standard with dual airbag and Seatbelt Reminder System (SBR) for driver only. Furthermore, the Saga is
equipped with standard ISOFIX and top tether. Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) is not available in all variants and Electronic
Stability Control (ESC) can be found only in the premium variant.
