Dosage of X-Mix RBS 100 depends on the PI percentage of the raw materials and the desired level of PI in the specifications. Dosage percentages is influenced by the following factors: Percentage of fines in the mix = Percentage of PI in the fines Dilution percentage of X-Mix RBS 100 ‘Typical dosages can range from 5 to 25 liters per cubic meter of material, depending on the dilution percentage. Itis recommended that laboratory trials should be conducted to ensure the correct dosage is used for specific mixes. -CALIBUR ‘CONSTRUCTION CHEMISTRY Technical Data Sheet sor010116 Typical Performance Depending on the amount of fines in the raw material and the percentage of initial plasticity in those fines, X-Mix RBS 100 can reduce the PI between 50 and 100%. ‘The performance and percentage reduction in PI is also dependent upon the level of dosage of the product. Itis recommended that laboratory trials should be conducted to ensure the correct dosage is used for the desired reduction in Plasticity Index. Dispensing X-Mix RBS 100 should be added to the mixing water when the sub-base or base course material is mixed through the plant. X-Mixc RBS 100 is readily soluble in water and i's therefore very easy to mix into a water tank with minimal agitation. It can also be sprayed onto the raw material stockpile using a water bowser, but in this case suitable mixing of the stockpile needs to be ensured. Packaging ‘Supplied in 200 itre drums, 1000 itre 1BC and bulk supply. Storage Should be protected from direct sunlight and frost. Can be stored for 2 years in an un-opened container.
