My Reflection

The subject is about statistics and probability. Statistics is a branch of

mathematics dealing with the collection, analysis, interpretation and presentation
of masses of numerical data. Probability is the chance that something will happen.
The topics that were discussed during the 1st quarter were counting techniques
including tree diagram and fundamental counting principles, addition rule,
permutation, combination, counting probability, computing probability including
simple probability, multiplication rule (dependent and independent variables),
conditional probability and discrete probability distribution including random
variables, mean of a discrete random variable, variance and standard deviation of a
discrete random variable.

The lesson about making a tree diagram made a great impact to my life. It
helped me to identify the relationship of a certain happening or event. The
outcomes were also predicted with the help of making of a tree diagram.

I had a great time with my teacher and also with my classmates. My teacher
is very patient and has the passion to teach us. She doesnt give up explaining and
giving examples until we fully understand the topic. Consideration was given to
every student and chances to improve their grades and status in the subject. My
classmates were fun to be with. Even there are times that some of us has forgot
their limits which I ask for apologies, they make the subject more fun and
interesting. We help each other to understand the lessons so that no one is left
behind.
