Project: 180 Degree Rule
The following terms should be implemented into the short film:
MATCH ON MATCH- It is a cut within a scene that makes sense spatially. This can be between
two different objects, two different spaces, or two different compositions in which an object in
two shots graphically match.
180 DEGREE RULE- The 180 rule is a cinematography guideline that states that two
characters in a scene should maintain the same left/right relationship to one another.
SHOT REVERSE SHOT- one character is shown looking at another character (often offscreen), and then the other character is shown looking back at the first character. Since the
characters are shown facing in opposite directions, the viewer assumes that they are looking at
each other.
EYE LINE MATCH- based on the premise that an audience will want to see what the character
on-screen is seeing.

IDEA: A man (from New York) will be walking down a sidewalk. While he is walking, another
local man will be walking in the opposite direction. They bump into each other and the New
Yorker gets heated and they have a small argument.
CHARACTERS:
-Wilmer Silva (Man from New York)
- Federico Martinez (Local Man)
