Monday: Which Way Do We Go? Reading and turning
pages from top to bottom and left to right.
Tuesday: In or Out? Toss and Shout (rapid retrieval
of positional words)
Wednesday: Listen and Pass (following directions,
demonstrating understanding of positional words)
Thursday: Compare and Share (describing size)
Friday: Lets Decide, Narrow or Wide? (describing
spaces as narrow or wide)

Leaf Books: Collecting and comparing leaves,


pasting into our Leaf Books
Q-tip Tree paintings-painting trunks and branches,
then adding fall colored leaves with Q-tip bundles.
Special Activities:
Mrs. Grays Kind Kids Crew hung a bird feeder/bird
swing outside our classroom window for our bird
friends! We used tweezers to pick dried corn
kernels off the cob and added them to birdseed.
Finally we planted tulip, iris and hyacinth bulbs right
outside our classroom window.

Science Technology Engineering Math

Collecting and comparing leaves from trees, setting


leaves in liquid watercolors, planting lima beans and
observing bean seeds sprout in baggies, planting bulbs
for spring, Tinker Tray activities and building with
pattern blocks and mirrors
