Removing and installing trim panel on driver's door

1 - Front door trim
panel.
Removing:
Switch off
the ignition
and all
electrical
components.
Lever out
cover for
door handle 5- from
bottom to top
with e.g.
door panel
inner trim
removal tool
-MP8-602/1-.
Remove
fixing screws
-7- for door
trim panel.
Release
screws -6-.
Vehicles with
power
windows:
Lever out
switch unit
for power
windows -8-.
Disconnect
the plug
connection.
For all
vehicles:
Unclip trim
panel with
e.g. removal
tool for the
inner lining
of the door
panel -MP8602/1-.
Unhook the control cable from the interior door handle -4-.
Disconnect plug connection for speaker, mirror adjustment (depending upon equipment).
Slightly raise trim panel -1- upwards and remove.
Installing:
Installation is carried out in the reverse order.

Replace clips with new ones if damaged.

9 - Insertion nut

1 - Rear door trim
panel
Removing:
Switch off
the ignition
and all
electrical
components.
Lever out
cover for
door handle 9- from
bottom to top
with e.g.
door panel
inner trim
removal tool
-MP8-602/1-.
Remove
fixing screw 6- for door
trim panel.
Release
screws -7-.
Remove
window
crank -5 Chapter.
Vehicles with
power
windows:
Lever out
switch unit
for power
windows -4-.
Disconnect
the plug
connection.
For all vehicles:
Release door lock knob for mechanical door lock -8 - (depending upon vehicle equipment).
Unclip trim panel with e.g. removal tool for the inner lining of the door panel -MP8-602/1-.
Slightly raise trim panel -1- upwards and swivel out.
Unhook the control cable from the interior door handle -10-.
Release plug for speaker (depending upon equipment).
Remove the trim panel -1-.
Installing:
Installation is carried out in the reverse order.

Replace clips -2- with new ones if damaged.

Removing and installing window

Removing:
Release spacer ring -3- by pressing in the
direction of the arrow -arrow A-.
Pull off window crank -1- from window lifter
shaft -2 - arrow B-.
Installing:
Installation is carried out in the reverse
order.

The window crank must be parallel to the

5 o'clock position when the left window is
closed and to the 7 o'clock position when
the right window is closed.
