Apolo

Apollo is the son of Zeus and Leto, and brother of the goddess Artemis. Jealous
Hera of Leto, had pursued the young throughout the land. Tired of escape the
wrath of the wife of Zeus, Leto was looking for a site where giving birth to the child
she was carrying in her womb.
At the foot of a Palm tree, the only tree on the island "Delos", Leto waited delivery
for nine days and nine nights, because Hera kept beside her to Ilitia, the divinity
that presides over the happy births. All them goddesses, notably Athena, is were
next to Leto, but nothing could make in its favor.
After the birth, Zeus sent his son gifts: a golden miter, a lyre and a carriage pulled
