Introduction

The Solution Manager sizing toolkit contains components (guides, cookbook, spreadsheet)
used to run a sizing project for SAP Solution Manager.
This toolkit is used to:
Find hardware resources needed to implement SAP Solution Manager for a given
landscape.
Determine the corresponding SAP Solution Manager cluster configuration.
Configure SAP Solution Manager and Wily IS EM to obtain better performances and
better scalability.

SAP Solution Manager sizing spreadsheet

It contains sizing information for SAP Solution managers scenario like CharM, Solution monitoring, Service Desk, RCA.
After describing your landscape and users configuration, you will have a complete description of your SAP Solution
Manager in term hardware (CPU, Memory, Disk usage, DB size, ) and software configuration (number of dialog
process, IS EM Collectors, )

SAP Solution Manager Sizing Guide

This guide explains the methodology and the concepts to consider during a SAP Solution Manager sizing project for the
RCA scenario implementation.
This document should be read first before starting any sizing effort on Solution Manager.

SAP E2E RCA Sizing Overview

This document gives a summary and outlines the main information of the SAP E2E RCA sizing guide.

WilyISEM Cluster Configuration

Information

When starting the Sizing spreadsheet of the Solution Manager Sizing tool kit, you will be
asked to trust the SAP certificate issued with the tool. By doing so, all macros used for the
automatic computation will be activated.
Any changes in the input panel (Landscape description and Users description) will
automatically update the results panel in which you will get the sizing information
corresponding to the implemented scenarios of Solution Manager.
