Inergi is a technology service centre wholly owned by Capgemini Canada Inc. Our focus
is providing information technology solutions to the energy sector by leveraging our
state of the art data centre and expertise in applications for energy companies. Inergi
offers a broad range of information technology services including applications
development and maintenance, web development, infrastructure and operations
support. Our specialties within the application area are SAP, Passport, Microsoft Office
and Oracle.

Monitor department queues to ensure all support tickets are assigned and being
addressed in accordance to department policies, procedures and SLA's.

Provide Leadership to a team of information technology professions, technical


and clerical staff. Planning, organizing, scheduling and coordinating their work.
Provide advice, guidance and direction to maintain quality, accuracy and in
accordance with the established performance measures.

Designing, evaluating, testing and implementing tools and solutions to aid team
members in resolving user's problems with stand-alone systems. Assisting other
department staff with design, evaluation, testing and implementation of
components of more complex systems.

Maintain a safe, harassment-free workplace that is conducive to employee wellbeing and diversity.

Assist manager in developing and maintaining internal processes. Monitor


effectiveness and ensure all staff are educated and adhering to the set
processes.

Assist manager in tasks associated with managing complex information


technology, system and applications work programs involving multiple systems
and stakeholders.

Ensuing implemented system are operating effectively and efficiently. Resolve


escalated problems to keep systems functioning effectively and minimize when
systems are unavailable.

Requires knowledge of information technology systems and applications and


their applicability to the clients' businesses. This knowledge is normally
acquired through a 4-year university education in information technology and
experience in supporting systems, applications and databases. Applies
knowledge of information technology systems, applications and databases to
improve their operating effectiveness. Problems in providing technical and
operational support, and resolving users' problems may have unusual and
unexpected causes. Solutions are developed from interpreting established
methods and past practices. Provides required information to clients to resolve
their information technology problems and to meet service delivery agreements.
Requires explaining system operation and processes to resolve problems for
users who are generally receptive to the information. The results of providing
technical advice and problem resolution to clients contribute to an improvement
in service delivery.

Requires working in a normal business office environment where the work


requires concentrated attention to resolved departmental and/or information
technology problems.
