Portfolio is a purposeful collection of students work that exhibits
the students effort, progress and achievements in one or more areas. The collection must include students participation in selecting contents, the criteria for selection, the criteria judging merit and evidence of student self-reflection. (Paulson, Meyer 1991). Portfolio is not new to the students because this is the most requirements when they end the school year and most of the teachers are requiring their students to make their portfolio in order for them to see progression of their self and achievement. In this new era of performance assessment related to the monitoring of students mastery of a core curriculum, portfolios can enhance the assessment process by revealing a range of skills and understanding one students parts; support instructional goals; reflect change and growth over a period of time; encourage student teacher, that can provide for continuity in education from one year to another year. The purpose of this portfolio is to provide a way for students to value themselves as learners in that way they gave their best and their ability to do their activities or requirements that their teacher gave them and to enlarge their view on what they learned in way that it strengthens and widen their knowledge to give importance all the lessons that they learned. For me through this portfolio this serves as my basis in my teaching career in the future over this entire portfolio we can see the progressive of our performance. This portfolio is the compilation of my Fs Subject the Fs 3 & 4, Fs 5, and Fs 6.
