Okay, first of all, there is the radioactive unstable isotope called carbon-14.

Because it is
unstable, it decomposes. But it takes a long time to completely turn into something else. Still, it
decomposes at a regular and constant rate. That is why scientists use carbon-14 to check how
old something is, and the method is called carbon dating.
Another use of a radioactive isotope is cobalt-60. Its umm used in radiotherapy. It treats
cancer, I think!... Well, doctors use it in medicine, and its useful, so i guess thats enough?
Sorry for the sloppy writing, but I cant just copy text from google and paste it here, am I right?
