STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

MOBILE INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

The statement of purpose will mainly discuss three categories:

What will we do in the project?

Why are we doing?
How do we plan to do?

FOR WHOM WE ARE DOING THIS PROJECT?

This program is mainly designed for mobile companies. It contains the necessary
details for the companys record. The design and development of a C coded
database management program will help in easy access of the information by the
company. The end users will be the members of the company while some
information will only be accessible by the head of the company.

WHY ARE WE DOING THIS PROJECT?

Maintaining of records is necessary for any company. But maintaining a manual
record of customers record is just not possible, as a solution to such a massive
information detail we require a database management. Hence, we are designing
this program which will be useful for these companies for easy access to
customer information.

HOW ARE WE PLANNING TO DO THIS PROJECT?

This project maintains the records of all customers who want to buy a mobile and
had purchased a mobile all its related information. Rather than making our entire
program complex; we plan to make a simple program. We plan to use several
functions, structures, arrays, and even pointers to make our program short and
simple.
We want are software to perform the following functions for the user:

Software should be able to tell the type of mobile(gsm/ cdma)

To allow customer to chose a mobile of his/her choice

To store the type of connection user is using

Mode of payment of the customer

Color selection of the mobile by the customer

I had a great interest in computers right from my class 3 rd when I first learnt about
the computer. My teachers taught me how easy life becomes with computers.
Then the computer games fascinated me more about computers. The question
how computer works and how it performs such enormous work in a little time
started coming to mind. To find an answer to all my questions, I opted computer
science in my high school and opted computer science as my branch for
perusing my btech as my father wanted me to become an engineer.
By doing this project of Computer Science I will improve my skills in C language.
This project will teach me how to coordinate within a number of people working
as a team. This project will also teach me how to manage my team as a team
leader.

Hi, I am Bini Joseph. I wish to become a very good programmer. I chose
computers by choice as my profession. Since childhood computers is one such
electronic device which has always impressed me. I used to accompany my dad
to his office on Saturdays just to experiment new things on his system. As, I grew
up, I took computers as my subject in 11 and 12 , prepared a C++ program on
water distribution system. It was not purely designed by me; I took some help
from different books. I am just a beginner in this field but I believe Ill become a
professional one day. Apart from this, Im a music freak, studious by inheritance,
and absolutely friendly. I love playing badminton, scrabble, and volleyball. Thats
a short description about me.

My name is Himanshu Subnani, and I am doing my B.Tech in computer
science from Sharda University, Greater Noida. I am pursuing Computer Science
because I had great interest in computers since 7 grade when I got my own new
computer. I was always curious how these things worked. And from my childhood
I had great interest in electronics as my father is an engineer.
So after completing my High School I knew that I want to become a Computer
Engineer. And after completing my school in science subject from Cambridge
School, New Delhi, I finally came here to Sharda University.
By doing this project of Computer Science I will improve my skills and command
over C language. And also gain experience as to how a professional software
program is made and handled.

I chose computer science as my career option because I have an interest in
computer from the beginning. As a computer science engineer I want to be a
software engineer. My role in the project is of coding. I will be doing C language
coding. This project will help me learning coding and more than that it will teach
me to work in group. Since I want to be a software developer and software is
developed in groups, this will prepare me for the future.

Hello, my name is Anudit Sinha. Computers since childhood have been my best
friend. I have always been attracted towards the computer and their parts. More
than theory I am interested in things that are not in course. I was well known in
my school in 11 and 12 for my programming in C++ and even was sent for
some programming competitions on behalf of the college. I even designed my
own PC desktop configuration with best core 2 duo C7400 8mb cache memory
processor as the one 1 looked for was not available. With this course I want to
learn computer in a deeper perspective.

I am Anubha Gupta pursuing BTECH from Sharda University and my branch is
computer science and engineering. I choose this branch because of my interest
in computers and also because I had computer science in my 11 and 12 class,
so, I want to continue that stream only. Till my +2 course I have studied ms-word,
ms-excel, ms-PowerPoint, ms-dos, HTML, SQL and also C++. For the first time I
am being engaged in this kind of project and Im hoping to gain lot of knowledge
about new mobiles are manufactured, about different models of mobiles, how
mobile companies keep the record of each and every model of mobile, about the
new techniques and features to be introduced in mobiles.

I have been interested in technology specially computers. Since childhood I am

Since, my childhood I have a very keen interest in computers, its interiors,
software & hardware because of which I have joined computer science.
Mobile management system helps people to communicate, share their ideas and
to give some urgent information. It helps people to be in touch with their friends,
family, etc.
Because of this project I got the opportunity to interact with my colleagues and to
learn some more of the C language and would like to learn some more of it.

I had great interest in computers ever since I learnt LOGO. I used to bolt out my
uncles PC to discover about the internal hardware of the system. I was always

Engineer. And after completing my high school, I finally came here to Sharda
University and I am perusing my BTECH in computer science branch.
