2016 Hampton University Onsite Admissions & Information Session

Please join the Charlotte Hampton alumni chapter and the Hampton University Admissions Office for our annual Onsite
admission event October 8th. During this event, high school seniors will have the opportunity to have their application reviewed in
person with an Admissions Officer possibly receiving an admission and scholarship decision on the spot. While students are
interviewing, students and parents can attend sessions on financial aid and student life at Hampton.
All students are required to provide the following:
o The Signature page from your completed online application (apply online @ www.hamptonu.edu/admissforms.html)
o OFFICIAL high school transcript
o Standardized test scores ACT or SAT (Only SAT score reports since March 2016 accepted)
o One letter of recommendation from your high school guidance counselor or a high school teacher
o An autobiographical essay, or a 250-500 word response to the following:
o If your name were an acronym, what would it stand for and how would it reflect your strengths and personality?
o A photograph that best represents you and provide a 140 character tweet length description about how the photo relates to you

o Application fee of $35.00 (non-refundable). Only cashier's check or money order accepted
