What if when | give breaths,
they don't go in???
There are a couple reasons why breaths may not go
in...
e The airway was not opened properly (head tilt /
chin lift) - try an initial retilt of the head and attempt
breaths again
¢ The person's nose / mouth were not properly
sealed - pinch nose / mouth to mouth
¢ An object is blocking the way - unconscious
choking using compressions and breaths but adding
a foreign object check after compressionsUnconscious Choking Victim
