Definition:
1. The Natural Environment
The natural environment comprises all living and non-living things that are
natural on Earth. It is an environment that encompasses the interaction of all
living species. The Natural environment is also the climate, weather and
natural resources that are around us. This Natural environment provides
healthy food, shelter, clothing, medicines, beauty, clean water, clean air and
many other benefits for people to use and enjoy. The natural environment is
also the worlds largest employer. Most of the worlds population make their
living from environmental resources than by any other means.

2. The Built Environment


The built environment encompasses places and spaces created or modified
by people including buildings, parks, houses and transportation systems, in
other words, the built environment are man-made structures. The built
environment is a material, spatial and cultural product of human labor that
combines physical elements and energy in forms for living, working and
playing. It has been defined as "the humanitarian-made space in which
people live, work, and recreate on a day-to-day basis."
