Cinque Terre Express train schedule

Getting a train is the best option, both to get to Vernazza and to visit Cinque Terre: cheaper,
faster and running more or less every half an hour in between the five villages, Levanto and La
Spezia.

You can buy single tickets directly at the train station and and once validated in the graygreen machines placed on the platform you can use them for 75 minutes.
The rate is 4 for any train trip in between La Spezia and Levanto. When coming from a
village outside this line, from Bonassola for instance, youll have to purchase a train ticket to
Levanto and then a train ticket for the Cinque Terre Express Line (1.80 + 4). In the evening,
from 8:00 p.m. on, the rate is 2.40.

However, if you plan to take more than four trains in a day or to hike along the stunning
blue trail and/or use the bus service to the hamlets and shrines, the best option is
the Cinque Terre Card, which includes unlimited train travel during the day, admission to
museums in the city of La Spezia, free bus service in the area of the National Park and free
access to the trails.
It lasts one day (16 ) or two days (29 ) and can be purchased at the Cinque Terre Info Point
in any train station.
