Hero: The main character would play the role of the hero as he is the one tasked with solving
the mystery.
Villain: The villain in my film is the owner of the company responsible for the
disappearances.
Donor: The role of the donor would also be filled by the antagonist as it is down to his
mistakes that would allow for the mystery to be solved.
Dispatcher: The role of the dispatcher would be filled by the love interest of the main
character.
False Hero: The main character would also play the role of the false hero as he is hindering
himself in his endeavour to solve the mystery by doubting himself.
Helper: The role of the helper is also inadvertently played by the villain as he enables the
main character to solve the mystery.
Princess: The role of the princess will be filled by the love interest of the main character
whose disappearance motivates the main character to solve the mystery.
Father: The role of the father will also be filled by the main characters love interest as she
will serve as the reward for the main character to solve the mystery.

Roland Barthes: One of the main signs used in my trailer is the use of busses and public transport for
their association with the monotony of the working world and thereby using them to suggest that
the world depicted in my film will have allegorical content regarding the futility of modern existence.

Steve Neale: I am following a lot of mystery conventions regarding the villain such as making him a
successful business man with lots of power and influence who uses this to facilitate his
crimes.However for the main character I am straying away from having a detective as the main
character and am instead having a student for the sake of telling a story about contrast between rich
and poor.
