This is in reference to your advertisement in the Manila Bulletin Newspaper dated September 15, 2020,
inviting applicants for the position of Junior Accountants. I know that I am an ideal candidate for this
position as my educational background and previous experiences have prepared me well to take on the
role of an accountant in your company.
I have finished my course of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy at the University of Saint Louis
Tuguegarao and I have passed the board exam on October, last year. I am ambitious, enthusiastic, and
competent and a talented individual with a keen eye for details. Apart from this, I am excellent with
numbers and calculations. My ability to analyze information, find solutions to tricky issues, communicate
effectively with all interested parties, prioritize tasks and capability of working within a fast pace is well
above average.
As an intern at DuPont and Novogradac & Company LLP, I have come in touch with most of the
responsibilities of a junior accountant. I was involved with the preparation of journal entries, maintenance
of receivables and payments, balance sheets, preparation of monthly financial reports and account
closings, and tax calculations. I also have been associated with design and implementation of procedures
for internal financial controls, preparation of internal budgets and other miscellaneous duties assigned
without notice. Working for both companies as an intern helped me develop my communication skills and
it taught me how to work fast yet efficiently under pressure. I also learned how to deal with different
kinds of person.
I firmly believe that I can add a significant value to your company. If given the opportunity, I would love
