Question: (20 pts)
Solve the following problems:
1. Convert the decimal number 125.35 to hexadecimal number.
2. Using 8 bits to represent the values, add the numbers 62 and 78 in binary (use 2s
complement to represent negative numbers.)
3. Simplify the following expression to a minimum sum of products: (X + (Y (Z + W))).
4. Derive the Boolean algebra expression that corresponds one-to-one with the following
switch circuit:

Your homework solution document must be prepared using MS-Word and/or the lab software
(LogicAid and/or Simaid) to draw the logic circuit diagram or you can use any other tools that
serves the purpose. You cannot use a software program to do the simplification.
