Activities:
Pre-writing:
o Think of the important events which happened to you in the past
week. Write these events in a timeline.
o Review transition devices.
Writing:
o Use transition devices to connect the events in the timeline to each
other in the form of sentences.
o Arrange these events chronologically to form a short paragraph.
Add details when necessary.
Post-writing:
o Find a partner. Let your partner read your paragraph and identify
the events presented in your paragraph. Let him/her identify the
transition devices used. Do the same to your partners output.
o Generalization/Giving of feedbacks
