Master Data Governance (MDG) for all domains. Some authorizations allow critical activities.f you have
multiple users involved in the configuration and administration of MDG content, we recommend you
split this role into several new roles and give each new role a subset of the authorizations for this role.
Such an approach ensures users only complete tasks they are responsible for and reduces the risk of
critical errors.

Authorization Objects
If the Business Function MDG_ERP_SUPPLIER_4 is already activated initially, then it
is presumed that BP data model is also activated.
If yes,then edit the provided data model and add new entity types or attributes as
and when required
If you enhance the data model with new entity types , then all the temporary IDs
are prefixed with '$' symbol and an internal sequence number.

This activity is required if you intend to override the standard settings, so that you
can distribute supplier master data into the target systems, with the numbers of
the suppliers in the target system being different from the corresponding numbers
in the hub system
New change requests statuses and their processing options can be added if
necessary

Depending on the company's landscape, new change request types can be

configured for specific purposes.

Enter codes and a short description to tag or classify your change requests. These codes can be used
later for change request analytics (process quality analysis). They also can be used to influence the
workflow-driven processes. For example, depending on the priority of a change request, you can mark
it for special processing.

Using the standard workflow template or the already provided rule-based

workflow is highly recommended for MDG-S and we need to check and customize
the decision tables accordingly for the design of the approval process for the
respective change request.

Services

Value Mapping is the linking between field values in different systems, typically
based on global data types. For example, in the context of country names,
mapping GER to DE representing Germany.
If you are working with multiple connected systems and did not consolidate the
supplier keys during the initial load phase, key mapping may be required.
Key mapping is the linking of the
identifying keys of object instances that represent identical real world objects in
different systems.
Use the pre-delivered feature of performing de-duplication of data in MDG and
define the high and low threshold values for identifying the duplicates

Required practice in order to have some data already available for testing
purposes
